Question
"What does it mean to go against the crowd?"
This means to stand up for what you believe in and not care what the crowd thinks. The phrase "go against the crowd" means that you go against what the crowd is saying, doing etc. You be the heroic individual and be difference. You be the one to make a difference and become completely unique. This phrase is extremely important in life because it means doing what you personally believe and being your true self, not just following what everyone else is doing.

Image Analysis

The setting of this image is outside the back of a building, captured during the day. There are no individuals in this picture, but it does show where the white people must drink and doesn’t have a spot for the coloured people to drink. Therefore this shows that the coloured people were incredibly invisible to most of the community. The image shows very poor features. The walls are tacky, everything looks extremely old, the directions are written in chalk by hand writing, and it overall looks like the area is unhygienic. This photograph has a very negative perspective on life, as it presents dark with a heavy feeling.
