Andrea Sachs is an extremely intelligent woman. Andrea’s version of femininity is represented in the film ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. Andrea goes through a transition from being herself to being someone she is not and never wanted to be. As herself, she represents a woman, who has no sense of style, is strong willed and confident. This is the real Andrea everyone liked. Whereas as the film goes on Andrea changes and transforms into a woman with extremely stylish fashion, nervous, low self esteem and work obsessed women. Therefore Andrea is constructed as a woman who leads two different pathways, one that is good and one that is bad. Andrea’s version of femininity is represented in the movie ‘The devil Wears Prada’ in a difficult way, as there is two versions constructed.
