2. What themes the character helps to demonstrate and how they achieve this.

This character helps to demonstrate the universal theme, happiness. Don Pedro deomonstrates this because he is always happy. When ever he hears about something good he is happy, when ever other people are down he always brings happiness to them. Don Pedro never shows angryness, he keeps it to himself.

3. Relevant quotes and examples from the plot that are significant to this character, you should already have some from the previous exercise but you can continue to add to these. Be aware that you don't simply have to use quotes that the character says, you should also consider things others say about them. Make sure that you explain the quotes, don't just list quotes and rely on them to explain themselves.

The quote: “If thou dost love fair Hero … I will break with her and with her father, and thou shalt have her”. Don Pedro is basically saying that if Claudio really loves Hero he will do what ever he can to make them happy together. Once again he brings happiness to their lives.
